HR (Human Resources) is software that keeps every worker's story — who they are, when they came, what they do, how much they get — in one place.

HR（人力资源管理）是记录每个员工故事的软件——他们是谁、何时入职、做什么、拿多少，都放在同一个地方。

1Before HR：纸档案和手敲的 Excel

In the old days, the people office kept its workers in paper and tables.

过去，人事部用纸质表格管理员工。

A new person came in → name, papers, copies — a thick file.

新人入职 → 姓名、证件、复印件——厚厚一叠档案。

Pay day → someone opened a big Excel and typed every number by hand.

发薪日 → 打开一个大 Excel，一个个数字手敲进去。

One wrong number → the worker grows angry, and the office fixes it for days.

一个数字算错 → 员工生气，人事部要改好几天。

The company's memory of its people lived in drawers and files.

公司对员工的记忆，锁在抽屉和档案里。

2After HR：一人一档，自动运转

HR puts every worker into one record. Now:

HR 把每个员工放进一份记录。现在：

Find a new person → put up the job online → the system sorts the letters → the best ones come first.

招人 → 线上发布职位 → 系统自动筛简历 → 好的排前面。

Pay day → the system counts the pay itself, and takes out tax and insurance by itself.

发薪 → 系统自动算工资，自动扣个税和社保。

Check attendance → the clock data flows in by itself → leave and overtime are clear at a look.

考勤 → 打卡数据自动汇总 → 请假、加班一目了然。

The company now knows its people the way it knows its customers and suppliers.

公司现在了解员工，就像了解客户和供应商一样。

3What does a company get? 公司能得到什么？

4HR and ERP：人和钱

ERP runs the money and the goods. HR runs the people.

ERP 管钱和物。HR 管人。

HR counts the pay → ERP writes the cost → ERP pays it out

HR 算工资 → ERP 记成本 → ERP 付款

They shake hands on pay day. And HR feeds the whole company — every department pulls its people from the same record.

它们在发薪日握手。而且 HR 滋养整个公司——每个部门的人，都来自同一份档案。

Big names in HR: SAP SuccessFactors, Workday. In China, 北森（Beisen）、金蝶 s-HR and 薪人薪事 are well known.
